Dynamically Linked Protocols
What is a Dynamically Linked Protocol (DLP)?
A DLP is a Windows Dynamically Linked Library (DLL) that provides
additional file transfer protocol support for PROCOMM PLUS for Windows.
How does a DLP work?
A DLP provides several important services:
It provides a user interface to setup or initialize the protocol.
It provides PROCOMM PLUS for Windows a list of its capabilities, ie. auto
dowload, multiple file transfer etc.
It executess the file transfer protocal at the user's request.
How do I install a DLP?
All you will need to install a DLP is to copy it to the PROCOMM PLUS for
Windows directory. PROCOMM PLUS for Windows checks in that directory
for any files that have a DLP extension and provides the name as a new
new protocol choice to the user.
